Fringe finally gets a blog.

We’re a little bit excited. Not only because we’ve finally got a blog (welcome to the 21st century, Fringe) but also because our 2016 programme and new website are live, launched and rather good-looking (if we do say so ourselves).

This year we are excited to have over 140 shows included in our festival programme. From robots to pigeons, nipples to loose dicks, banging cymbals to Beyoncé, this promises to be the biggest fringe festival in New Zealand to date!

Some things that we’re excited about for Fringe 2016:

International artists – we have SIX WHOLE PAGES of the programme jam-packed with shows coming from overseas (including France, Georgia, Mexico, Australia, UK, and the USA).

A mini programme – the middle of the printed programme is actually a handy dandy pullout for a transportable, easy-to-use micro-programme with the map and day-by-day schedule.

Your FAV – we’ve joined up with Victoria University who are presenting their own festival within the festival called Your FAV (Fringe at Vic), a combination of Wellington’s vibrant arts community within the many nooks and crannies of Victoria University.

An exceptionally big thank you and muchos aroha to Inject Design who have brought to life the funky, chunky, and seriously spunky side of Fringe, as well as Nine Sixty who built our handsome-as-all-hell website! We couldn’t have done it without all of your creatively talented bits.
