Pride Parade Day is on Saturday 16th March, a visual extravaganza of all members of the community marching, dancing, singing to celebrate the acceptance of diversity in New Zealand. Both walking groups and floats will feature in this annual event. A stage at the corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki Street will feature live performances and a big screen at Odlins Plaza will replay all the action. Performances will include the Wellington Orchestra, NZ Royal Ballet, Te Auaha NZ Institute of Creavity and others to be announced soon. Take part by either entering a float or walking group or come along and watch the parade along the street.
