Jîyan bê te nina

Jîyan bê te nina

Leila Lois and Patrick Rose

This is an interdisciplinary, immersive arts project that exalts the rediscovering/ rebirthing of our ancestry and narrative. Like a phoenix from the flames of current fearful global crises — war trauma, environmental violence and disconnect— story, music, dance and lore arise to remind us of our true origins and callings.

‘Jîyan bê te nina’ is an installation, bursting with poetry, movement, visuals and sound as audiences are taken on a participatory journey through the palimpsest of origin, filling in gaps in their own stories, throwing light on the dark and giving voice to the boundless parts of themselves.
