Leave your rationality at home as you enter the curious world of 'A Simple Tale of Love' - imagine the Vicar of Dibley and Faustus thrown together. Will it all end in damnation, an inferno of passion or with a cup of tea?
Meet Molly - a seemingly ordinary, middle aged woman who's been cheated on, divorced and in a job where she's the butt of the joke - life's not going so well. And the object of her desire is JD - a very unusual and strange man - exiled from his home, friendless, jobless and clueless!
After a chance meeting one night in an alley way their lives become entwined and Molly soon feels intoxicated by his mysterious and peculiar ways - but what other ominous secrets does he have apart from confiscated knives?
The play not only explores the love between two people but the love of one's self, of one's dreams and is a metaphor for the reawakening of your deepest, darkest passion.
This one act two-hander dark dramedy is both poignant and absurd, evoking tears and laughter.
